Eine tolle internationale Schule mit einer fantastischen Gemeinschaft. Alle Lehrer der gesamte Staff ist hier sehr durchorganisiert professionell und trotzdem immer herzlich kennen jeden Schüler beim Namen. Der akademische Level ist anspruchsvoll. Unser Sohn ist so froh das er hier zur Schule geht und sagt das auch oft. Herzlichen Dank an das ganze BIS Team.

We found BIS more or less by accident - but is was one of these perfect high impact decisions you make in your life.

Our kids are extremely happy. The school is an place that really welcomes the whole community: pupils, parents, teachers, admin. Whichever detail you look at, me, personally, I always end up with the same thought: This is how a school should perfectly be nowadays. It leaves freedom of spirit with the kids, it brings them forward, and it creates curiosity in the kids, in order to build a community of life long learning, in a really "multi-kulti" crowd, with a good and healthy mixture of local families, often of mixed heritage, with expats. Technology is up-to-date. When the lockdown came in 2020, the Bavarian press praised BIS as the blueprint school. Teaching methods are very innovative. The library is one huge adventure world of its own, run with real love. And so on...

There is one moment that explains it all: A couple of days ago, we came to talking about the German word "blaumachen" (= cutting a day or lesson of school without permission). Our kids did not understand, and then they asked us: "Why should one not want to go to school?"

So far, so good. We are finishing up the enrollment process as we speak for both of our little girls. Petra gave us an outstanding presentation on Thursday, tour of the school, etc. Outstanding company philosophy, smartboards, iPads, music room, gorgeous cafeteria, extra curricular activities, huge playgrounds, super clean and lots of smiling teachers which says a lot about the company itself.
